Each week, Hearth to Home offers a different organic set menu for entrée packages comprising of 3 different meals each with 1 cup high quality protein, 1 cup vegetables and 1 cup whole grains.
The meals can be used throughout the week for dinners or lunches or entertaining friends. For many people 3 cups of food means extra leftover meals... depending on your appetite of course!
Optional items can be added such as soup, and in the near future: salad dressings, spreads and uncheeses as well as desserts. Our set menu means less time wondering what to choose and perhaps trying new meals that you wouldn't usually order! Also, by sharing a set menu, organic and top quality ingredients become more affordable.
You can order for just one week or you can go on a standing order where you receive your meals automatically week after week. If you pay for your standng order each month in advance, you will receive a 10% discount. If you prefer to pay weekly but still want to be on a standing order you will receive 5% discount after 4 weeks of consecutive orders are payed for.
To order, simply enter the quantities desired on the menu page and fill out the form. You can also call in your order at 416-656-0023or email Raisa at hearthtohome.ca. We will send you an email confirmation and give you your total with tax. Payments can be made by cheque or INTERAC email transfer. Returned cheques are subject to a $25 fee.
Deliveries are within the borders of the 401 to the north, Islington to the west and Victoria Park to the east and are free of charge. Deliveries take place Tuesdays between 10am and 6pm. We will give you a two hour window once we know your address. Pick-ups can also be arranged.
Meals are carefully packed in high quality reusable containers and kept insulated for delivery in a cooler bag with an ice pack. Meals packages can be delivered to your home or office. If you are not able to receive the deliveries yourself, please leave instructions when you order where to leave the cooler bag.
When you're finished with the meals, simply remove the labels before washing the reusable containers and put them back in the cooler bag with the icepack. You do not need to put the icepack in your freezer - just keep it in the cooler bag. We will pick-up the cooler bag, contianers and icepack the the following Tuesdayfor another wash and sterilization.
Please note that lost/ stolen/damaged cooler bags and containers are subject to a replacement charge.
The Friday after your first delivery, we will call you to see how you liked everything and to see if you would like to set up a standing order so you don't have to worry about placing an order each week.
If you have a standing order and need to make any changes, please let us know before the Friday noon deadline. Monthly standing orders can be put on hold if you going to be away and are renewed each month automatically unless we receive notice otherwise.
If you are going to be away for more than one week please make sure that the the cooler bag, containers and icepack are returned before you go away by either leaving them for us to pick up the following Tuesday or by dropping them off.
